Beats by Dre with HTC Sensation XE

Beats by Dr.Dre in combination with HTC Sensation XE

HTC has something for music aficionados that they cannot resist. A partnership with Dr. Dre's Beats Audio gave birth to HTC Sensation XE, the first mobile phone with Beats Audio. Sensation XE is predicted to be launched by the end of September in Europe and Asia. Sensation is expected to be an audio monster but it is also holds some of the features of its predecessor, HTC Sensation. This Android smartphone is expected to impress with its premium features.

HTC Sensation XE is a pretty sight, with its black and sturdy chassis. The XE is made of red and black, in contrast to the silver and white touches of the HTC Sensation. You'll see markings of Beats on the back of the phone. Expect flashes of red on the unit, including the touch-sensitive buttons.

The Beats Audio technology in the XE is what makes the newest HTC phone special. The built-in Beats Audio technology lets the user make a personalized sound profile. Sounds of the XE are significantly crisper and more pronounced thanks to the in-ear headphones decorated with sleek red accents. You can easily modify the audio settings when you plug the Beats in-ear headphones. You can either enable or disable the modifications. But if you do get your hands on Sensation XE, you'll love playing with the bass, mids, and trebles. This will elicit sheer delight from the music lover. It's still not confirmed if HTC Sensation XE will accommodate other earphones, but this is not so much of an alarming issue because the Beats earphones are included in the set upon purchase. Listening to music and watching movies will be so much better with the Beats Audio technology. The earphones can also be used as a hands-free headset when taking phone calls.

HTC Sensation XE is definitely faster than the original sensation, which has a processor of 1.2GHz dual-core.The XE operates on a 1.4 GHz processor, which is responsible for its faster speed. Critics are hoping that apps and processes in Sensation XE will open minus the lag.

Sensation XE does not disappoint with storage capacity either. Total storage adds up to 4GB, with a RAM of 768 MB. Surely, space will not dampen the performance of this mobile phone. There are also talks that there will be a slot for a microSD card (either 8 GB or 16 GB) for the music.

HTC also made the handset very user friendly for shutterbugs. The camera is capable of capturing 8-megapixel photos and 1080 p video files. A VGA camera is ready anytime in front for video calls. Dual LED flash camera will provide ample light in dark settings. The phone is also social networking-friendly. There are Facebook and Twitter apps installed for HTC Sense, as well as the Friend Stream. HTC is making it easy to share photos and videos via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and YouTube.

More details will be revealed once HTC launches the Sensation XE soon.

Fifth review so far, enjoy.
